legal places around wichita
so is there any places around wichita??? i went up a couple low maintenance roads today, and was warned my a couple people that we will get shot at for it:firedevil:... if anyone is familiar with the area it is 20th and butler rd. north side of 254.

Fire Hart 02-14-2009 10:37 AM

Yeah if you find any legal places around town, let me know.

crazyredneck 02-14-2009 05:35 PM

im still on the search, i do know that minimal maintenance roads are legal to DRIVE down. but if you start going side to side and a cope sees you they can write you a ticket for wreck less driving.

Fire Hart 02-14-2009 05:49 PM

Yeah I want to go somewhere legit, with real rocks

ks90yj 02-14-2009 07:03 PM

We could make a little rock garden in my front yard :) and wheel there

Fire Hart 02-14-2009 09:04 PM

OK lets do it

ks90yj 02-14-2009 10:00 PM

Alright lets do it!! I just need to get the wifes permission first.

crazyredneck 02-15-2009 09:50 AM

crazyredneck 02-15-2009 11:48 AM

Kansas BadLands - Kansas Badlands Off-Road Park, Mud Racing, Mud Bogs, and Mud Drags. ATV trails and places to ride.

Fire Hart 02-15-2009 08:17 PM

Yep. Been down there to check it out ....just mud pits for jeeps/trucks.

The little trails they have are for atv/dirt bike ONLY. :9lame:

ks90yj 02-15-2009 11:11 PM

I talked to some other people and they said they had some nice like beginers trails and stuff

distortedtj 02-15-2009 11:22 PM

They had one of the trails if you want to call it open to vehicles but nothing you cant do in 2wd. It was one of the atv trails.

If that's what your into cool beans. Everyone enjoys different wheeling. I like challenging trails and hate mud. You'd be amazed where a stock jeep will go.

ks90yj 02-15-2009 11:27 PM

Find me a place to go then.

distortedtj 02-15-2009 11:37 PM

I did. If you want REAL wheeling ......

Disney OK.
Tuttle Creek....up by Manhatten KS.
Kansas Rocks....2 1/2 to 3hr east on HWY 54.
SMORR...southern missouri ranch rocker.

There are many Places but for anything good you have to take a drive.

Disney OK is SWEET and has anything from stock to all out WILD trails.
