how to but a body lift on
how do you put a body lift on? i was thinking about doing this to make the angle right for the drive shaft when i put on my 3.5 re sup. lift.

A body lift will not change your driveline angle. You must install a 1 inch motor mount lift or drop the transfer case skid plate 1 inch or get a SYE kit (slip yoke eliminator is Approx 500 dollars) for the transfer case. degree of difficulty varies...I did the 1 inch motor mount lift.. a bit of a pain in the @#$% for a novel shade tree mechanic like me (lining bolt and holes up). SYE..when I get the$ I will probable let the experts do it....transfer case skid plate drop is the least difficult

it will not work unless you couple it with a motor mount lift...or just drop the skid plate with spacers...just wait and put it on with the lift

a body lift dosent appear to difficult. but what do you do about where your grill supports meet the frame? do you have to do anything with the shifter? boots etc....

MML is just as easy as a body lift. If you are doing both at the same time then you won't need to mess with your fan shroud at all. Just take a 2x4 or somethign and put it with your jack under the oil pan. then loosen the bolts on the frame for the MM's and lift it up. It's easier to do one side at a time. Then just drop your new MM's in and tighten it all back down. Should be less than an hour job. Maybe 2 if it's your first time.
