Hard shifting

hey everyone i have an 05 unlimited and i hear a rattling while idling at stop, when i push the clutch in it stops, also when shifting in lower gears tends to be tougher to shift any ideas.........THANKS

Check your trans fluid level, also inspect for contamination. Some complain of the
rattle, I personly don't have that issue, though it does seem prevalent!!!

also own a 05

I notice much harder shifts with the colder weather up here in maine. My fluids were low filling it back up helped. If pushing in your clutch quiets the noise you probably need a new clutch release bearing. I replace mine at one point and it's not very difficult, just really really time consuming.
