Is 200 000 km's too much??

Hi all.

I am new to this forum and did some searches, but could not find an answer.

I am looking at joining the Jeep club and have my eye on a second hand 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport TJ. (Auto soft top)

I have been told it has been looked after but my main question is. Is 200 000 km's too much for one of these?

This will be my only vehichle and main form of transport (even though I do not drive very much!).

Too much or fine?

Cheers

How much is the seller after?

$8000 Aus Dollar.

That's only about 125,000 miles which is well in range for the 4.0 in-line six motor in the Jeep Wranglers. Assuming the rest of the vehicle is in top notch shape I think the dollar figure is average as well. Turns out to be about 5k US money which is what you can find a 97 for here in the states.

Thats a little over $10,000 NZD which over here would get you one with a few less k's on the clock

Is it still stock? seller put any new wheels or anything on it?

Saffieboy 03-07-2009 06:41 PM

Stock as far as I can tell.
