Modification - HighRock 4x4 Lower Cargo Rack

We added the High Rock Rack System to our Jeep, removed the rear seat,
added the rack and rear heavy duty floor liner. Additional room to haul gear.

I've been thinking about getting one of those.
Can it mount a few inches higher? We want a place to stash the chainsaw and other odds and ends but also want the dog to have her throne area....

I don't see why you couldn't, the back brace attaches to the roll bar horizontally, you could raise it any where up or down on the roll bar. The front vertical braces could be cut to length to get your height. After cutting the verical braces to length, you would need to drill a hole in each vertical brace to attach the top hanger/bracket on the front two braces. It would be a very easy mod. Then you could slide in the dog carrier under the tray. Just a thought, since your thinking about loading tools and a dog carrier. I wanted to keep the floor in the back of the Jeep from getting all beat up, so I went to a local truck camper shell company and asked if they had any defective truck bed mats. They had a brand new one with a flaw in it, I was able to cut a piece out of the bed mat using a straight edge and utility knife to fit the floor area in the back. Those truck bed mats are HEAVY DUTY RUBBER. I was able to pick that truck bed mat for $30.00. It turned out great, looks like it was made for the Jeep. Post some pics if you decide to add a inside cargo rack, I'd like to see how it turns out.

I already built one rack, didn't like it, and took it apart Saturday; now it's becoming a set of shelves in my Conqueror Compact trailer to accommodate the new fridge in back. Needed to leave room around it to vent and room for the slides.
I was thinking of a platform for the back of the Jeep with compartments and dividers and a drawer in the back. It would only be about 8" high so the dog could perch on top comfortably and have tie-downs for the chain saw and other tricky gadgets.

Still thinking...

It seems like anytime I don't have a chainsaw there's a tree on the trail. And you're not always with your buddy and his Unimog to get you out of trouble...

I know what you mean, you want to have the right gear just in case. Here is a video, on the video they show a couple different products and the slide drawer system you might be interested in.
