retaining center subwoofer in 05 wrangler?

so im no jeep expert by any means (sold my 93 cherokee sport 2 door long ago :( ) but i recently talked my friend though a radio install on his 05 wrangler, little did i know it had a stock center console subwoofer..now of course it doesnt work

does anyone have any idea how to integrate that sub into a newer sony cd deck?

there should be connections on the back of the head unit thats says SW or sub woofer. I have an older Alpine and there's an Left and right for a sub woofer. Now you will also need a long set of audio cables from the head unit to hook into the amp. I'd say 10-12 ft. just to be safe.

Send me a PM with you email and I can send you information on the sub connector.

I just did the same thing.. im 80% switch the aux wire with the remote/blue wire or vice versa.. one of the 2 wires is not suppose to be hooked up.. the diagram is off because normally the remote wire is made for amplifiers.
