jeep ignition switch connector wiring help!!1 please!!!
ok so here is my delema been sitting here for the past 3 hrs looking at my ignition switch that i removed from my jeep earlier.. i am trying to troubleshoot the wiring harness now i am trying to figure out which wire is which in the connector that goes to it *the switch has 7 large copper pins 1 smaller copper pin and 2 smaller brass looking ones*.. this is on a 2002 jeep wrangler x . if anyone can give me the color codes for all the wires running to the connector on the harness or what the pins control on the switch and what they go to, it would be really appreciated...
thanks for the help
ok so this is all i have been able to come up with i can figure out most of it but does anyone know what the fused B+ are and whats with the multiple Run-acc or how would i go about wiring this to work like a push button start system .. what would i have to wire to the on toggle switch like a master power, then one for say just like if you kick your ignition switch to on, and then a momentary push switch for start.. haha my father did this years ago on an 86 ford ranger .. haha i loved the big red button and want to set one up in my jeep haha by the way the key lock is shot haha no steering lock but i have my own secret theft prevention methods including but not limited to hidden fuel and battery cut offs, and a few other tricks but this wiring has me confused and need a lil help
