97 Wrangler reversed sound bar.

Wondering if anyone can help me out here. I put a halftop on my Jeep and by doing so the soundbar had to be removed from the rear side of my center bar, could easily bring it inside the cab but in order to keep the flat side along the inside of the center bar, the wire plug instead ends up on the passenger end when it used to be on the drivers end. My question is.... is there anywhere I can get a plug extender and just run it under the center bar padding to the passenger side? Is there something i can look for on that wire plug (Harness) to help me identify it to search for an extension for it? I really don't wanna run new wires from the stereo. The speakers are Polk but I have no clue if thats who makes the sound bar, the previous owner may have just dropped them in.

go to radioshack and get some different colored wires and just extend the factory harness with new wires.

^^ +1 ^^ Cut the wires a few inches before the soundbar and just extend the wiring. You won't even need different colors of wire just as long as you can keep track of what you're doing. Radioshack or a marine store will have waterproof heat shrink to put around the connections to ensure a water tight seal.

I am about 6' and it seems like it would hit my head if it was reversed. Anyone tried this? Pics?

x2, I actually placed mine in front of the center bar and it was too close to my head. I'm 6'-2". I did read somewhere that someone moved it up close to the wind shield and it worked out for him.
