Maintenance?

I just purchased a 2003 Wrangler TJ Sport that has 60k miles. I do most my own work and I know each vehicle type has its own individual issues. I like to try to fix things before they cause major problems so based on you guys experience with your TJ's I am wondering what maintenance I should do to this guy.

Based on it having 60k miles what things would you guys suggest I do or check? I appreciate any help and advice you can provide!

Spark plugs, diff fluids(front and rear), transfercase fluid, trans fluid, coolant, air filter, 60k isn't alot of miles but a major service is due every 30k so just give It a good once over. Congrats on your new jeep!!!! Hope this helps!

Do everything you can think of. Not only because of the miles but being you just bought it having a maintenance starting point helps out down the road. You'll know exactly what was done and when.

If you purchased from a dealer they probably did an oil change but check to make sure. Other than that check and/or replace plugs, air filter, flush coolant, change gear oil in front/rear diffs, tranny filter if an auto, drain and refill transfer case, lube front-end zerks, check brake pads and rotors. I'd also check the install date of the battery and clean the terminals then spray anti-corrosion gunk on there...but that's me. The last thing you want is having a six year old battery in there and not know it.

*EDIT* What he said^

Awesome suggestions guys and gives me a good starting point. I will probably leave the diff fluid since priority #1 is going to 4.56 gears which will happen soon. I did change air filter and clean battery terminals but spark plugs, fluids, and filters are great idea.
