Help where is a good place to ground amplifier for subs in jeep?
 
I've installed amp under seat and need a good grounding point any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!:zap:

seat bracket bolt?

thats what ive done but it has paint underneath that bracket and body!

I grounded to the seat bracket bolt. works fine. bottom of bolt has no paint on it, neither do the threads where contact is made.

X3 mine grounded just fine with rear inside seat bolt.

x4 on the seat bolt. That is where mine was. Worked great.

X5 I used the pass side front seat bolt and it works flawlessly

If you really look around all of your body and frame grounds on the jeep are attached at points where it's painted.

Seat Bolt, or if you wanna get real fancy you can grind away a small paint spot and bolt it right to the tub, really no need to though.

One thing I have heard and makes no sense to me, is that you actually put in two ground points and hook them both to the amp, was told it will work better. Electricty 101 to me says it would make no difference though. Anyone else heard of this?

My fault the ground had come loose seat ground it is!
