Hole in the bottom of jeep floor? (pics)

I want to raptor line my 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ.
I decided I would try and rip the carpet out today and when I lifted the carpet I noticed this man made hole, which looks like has a plug of some sort.

Do all TJs have this hole in them?
What is it for?

This is on the front passenger seat BTW.

I'm not sure what raptor lining is, but if it's a type of bedliner, you mask off the drain plugs so they are still functional. If you go offroad at all, you do not want your tub to be drainless. You will spend hours vacuuming out the water with a shopvac.

Those are just water drain plugs. You may also have two in the rear floorboards but if not, you can use a screwdriver and remove the metal plugs in the rear. I ended up leaving mine off after monstalining and throwing some cheap Autozone rubber floor mats to cover them and help with floorboard heat.
