I have been getting wet carpets when it rains and I have read all the posts about the dash board and vent leaks. In total frustration today I pulled out all of the carpets and dried up the puddles and then went for a ride. It turns out that the water is not coming from the dash, doors or windows. (I have a soft top and 1/2 doors) The water is coming UP from the seams in the floor where they are covered by the manufacturers "tape". The worst leak is on the passenger side where the roll bar meets the floor. There are others, but the roll bar leak is the worst by far.
Has anyone else had this problem? I was thinking about using a self leveling caulk that I used on my RV roof to seal it up, but if that doesn't work I have more of mess to deal with. Suggestions??

Gorilla tape :( that's a problem for me too. I don't have carpet (just bedlined) and water come in from under my consol when i hit water holes/crossings/etc. I just leave all the drain plugs out it's easier. Then I pressure was out the floors when they get muddy.

I use to get a wet floor on my passenger side and would feel splashes of water when driving in rain, I still don't know why I feel splashes of water but the passenger side carpet was getting wet from my ac condenser... I don't know if that helps but if you find out why I'm getting splashed I would love to know. :crash:

You actually have carpet in your Jeep? What "Option Code" was that? LOL... Jeeps are better without carpet, I'd leave it out, oops, I already did leave it out...

I am on my 2nd jeep and both have leaked. Figured it was a problem with all of them.
