I own a 2007 Jeep JK. I have 50,000 miles on it and for about the past 15,000 I have noticed a poping noise in the rear end area. It happen when going fron rev. to drive as soon as i take off. Just a quick loud pop. It also happens when taking off in drive when the jeep is not setting level. Has anyone else had this problem? I have heard it can be the ring and pinion gears but im not sure?

Any solution to this? My 09 jk was doing the single popping during take off but now it's progressed to two pops during take off.

Do you guys have limited slip differentials? If so, you need the correct lube with the limited slip additive...
