jdhallissey 05-10-2009 12:04 AM

Hey you said do it later! I can't wait for gears and tires with the lockers it will be a new beast.

4point 05-10-2009 10:47 AM

Looks good jdh, now take it wheeling today.

jdhallissey 05-10-2009 01:14 PM

Needs a alignment and dave the other bolt broke on the rear shock mount DOH! I would wheel it but everywhere is 2 plus hours away and then it also cost me like 20 bucks. I need back to cali.

jpdocdave 05-10-2009 01:46 PM

yup, a little more work to be ready to wheel. we need to make all new brake lines.

jdhallissey 05-10-2009 02:35 PM

Naw I don't need no stinkin brake fluid :P. Also got her up to 60ish and no vibrations means no SYE for now yippy!

30-284 05-10-2009 02:44 PM

From 8:32am for the first pic to 7:48pm for the last pic, not bad, thats a lot of work.

Came out nice too.

Donn

jdhallissey 05-10-2009 03:01 PM

^ yea well we had no instructions so the control arms took about an hour to figure out. Then I had to run to the auto zone twice o get ujoints for the front. The spixer 5-760x were the wrong ones they shipped from 4wd. Then we actually finished bout 7ish. The last pics were after eating dinner brats!!

Best part of the whole day!

(That EOS 30D takes nice pics)

jdhallissey 05-10-2009 03:17 PM

^ haha umm no the best part was pushing the cap off of the ujoint trying to make it fit lol. Cap went flying cross the garage.

jpdocdave 05-10-2009 05:47 PM

found all my tools :eek::D

jdhallissey 05-10-2009 06:02 PM

^ I didn't want your sissy tools lol. I am going to need to get some good ones now. Jeeps are a little more big boy tool needs lol. Mustangs don't need the impacts hehe.

jpdocdave 05-10-2009 06:05 PM

doesn't help you burry it in mud either:doh:

jdhallissey 05-10-2009 06:07 PM

^ just because I actually get to use my jeep not get it broken in the campground doesn't mean you have to get all jealous. I will teach you how to actually make it into the badlands park "UNDER YOUR OWN POWER":D

jpdocdave 05-10-2009 06:20 PM

in all fairness the campground used to be about 7 miles away, not in the parking lot

jdhallissey 05-10-2009 06:37 PM

haha umm huh- well I will see you out there in 10 years lol. (next time your going to the badlands)
