Lifting my 1966 cj5

I bought a 1966 cj5 with 31" tires and basically a hockey puck lift of an 1.5" or so. I want to fit 33" BFG All terrains. I dont do any seriously off roading and the jeep is all stock suspension with the v6 dauntless motor. What would be my best option to fit 33" tires for road use. Ive been debating on a 3" body lift but i am not sure if that is the best route to go. Thank you

do 2"-2.5" susp and 1.5" body lift do nt go any higher than that on body center of grav will be too high and become unstable

Now i have access to 33" 12.5's i believe. Do i even have to go 3" to clear them

cheapest and best way to get a little more clearance for those is a shackle lift. don't do anything more to the body mounts.
