yeah yeah I'm new

Whats up guys & girls,

Just wanted to drop a line to introduce myself. My name is Ron, I'm in the central part of CT. I am the proud owner of a 2006 Wrangler SE, the only thing I wanted when I picked it out at the dealer was Yellow. There is just something about a Yellow on Black Wrangler. This is my second wrangler I've ever owned. The first was a 90 Laredo edition that I had for 10 days before a drunk driver T-boned me by trying to pass while I was turning. Anyway, I finnally got my dream vehicle again and I'll be looking for some advice on lifting it, power upgrades, and that stuff. In the meantime I am a manager at a car stereo shop and know my stuff if anyone has any questions about radios, speakers, amps, subs, or remote starts.
I can't wait to get a few posts up here and get to work on turning my Jeep into exactly what I want.

Oh yeah and I'm an 'equal-oportunity waver'

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the return to Jeepin! Just ask anything and someone on the forum will be glad to help. Check out the "sticky" articles at the beginning of each model forum, they will answer some of your more basic questions.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to WF! Congratulations and I'm glad you joined our group.

What do you mean by equal opportunity waver? I'm sure it is meant as a joke, but I'm not getting it.

Welcome! Sounds like you have yourself a really nice Jeep. Don't be afraid to ask anything. There are lots of friendly people on here that will be glad to help. Or at least help you spend your money! :D

Yeah its kinda a joke, I've noticed (at least in the NE)that some lifted jeep-ers don't wave unless you're lifted yourself, or only CJs to CJs and that stuff. I wave to everybody. hence the 'equal'
Oh and every vehicle I own I'm in a 'wave' club of some sort, I've got a '79 Triumph TR-7 (the wedge) and an '02 Suzuki SV650 for when I want to go fast. *begin rant* I guess its just the BS with the Harleys only wave to harleys, the TR-7 was the so-called demise of the Triumph brand. and so what if I have 4 coils instead of leaf springs, we're all on the same team and I'm here to have fun *end rant* Selective waving is not my thing.

waving soon --ron

well..... you just never met me driving down the street in either the CJ or my lifted TJ - I wave to ALL Jeeps

If I ever get to CT, I'll keep an eye out for you and give you a big 'ol wave :D

Nuthin 09-20-2006 06:12 PM

Welcome to the Forum! I wave, too. :)

amerijeep 09-20-2006 06:46 PM

Yep, I wave to them all. If they don't wave in return, I know that they are a yuppie or something.
