Ok well its not the tranny, Its from were the clutch goes into the tranny, First off that thing clicks when the clutch is depressed as if you were zipping a massive zip tie, When the jeep is idling it makes a clicking sound that follows the sound of the engine. Some times it fades in and out. With the clutch barley depressed it goes away completely. So Im guessing that the black thing has a shaft in it that when the clutch is depressed the shaft moves into the tranny pushing the fork and ingaging a gear, then when it is released the shaft just flops around in there making a vibrating sound? Sorry for all the things and stuff but not exactly sure what they are. Thanks ahead of time, everything runs great just this is starting to get annoying!

sounds like it could be the u joints on the drive shaft. that is a very common problem. it is also a very easy and inexpensive fix. when you grab the rear drive shaft is there a lot of play?

No man like I said it is deff were the clutch enters the tranny....its only when the clutch is not depressed so its deff something to do with the clutch side of things...and just the part that enters the tranny....everything shifts fine.

I would be able to tell if it was a ujoint this is a completely different sound for sure......What is that thing called were when you depress the clutch it goes to this tube looking thing that is black on the left side of the tranny?
