Currie CA Bolts ???s

Hello.

Last weekend I installed some used Currie CAs.
Everything works fine. But..

To of the bolts with the grease nippel have a broken thread. They dont work.
I used the old stock bolts at the front LCE at the axle.
How long can I drive without greasing it? When I installed the ball joint I used very much grease.

What kind of thread do the Currie CA bolts have?
IMO itīs not a metric thread. I want to cut the thread and to repair it. And I need two new nuts for these bolts.

Do the bolts from other manufacturers like RE fit?

Thanks!

Odd are they are going to be 14mm Nicolas. Are you referring to the threaded end for the zirk fitting that is messed up? Just take one to a hardware store and determine what the thread pitch is and then find 2 new greaseable bolts with the same pitch.

Thanks !

I hope that itīs a metric thread. Itīs hard to get inch thread over here.
But I donīt thnk that Iīll find some greasable bolts with this thread over here.

The thread pitch really doesn't matter as long as you get a nut to go with it. Just find 14mm greaseable bolts and you'll be fine. I'd even say that you don't need them, but most of your wheelin is in wet conditions so you really should grease the joints.
