seat & seat belt

got a 95 wrangler...

anyone got a good place i can get a replacement driver seat belt latch? the latch broke (something inside) the belt won't latch so i have to click it into passenger side. though i am open to putting a harness in it instead depending on the cost.

also the driver seat slider broke the top left metal split apart so the edge of the seat wont stay in and i get a leaning effect which sucks. trying to keep it stock since my stereo i have in the jeep is molded around the factory equipment.

is quadratec goin to be my best bet

Junkyard probably will be cheaper. We have the same problem with our son's '87 Cougar. Been looking for a while for that one....

well this sucks, got my new seat slider yesterday for my 95 YJ, i ordered it from Quadratec. after taking apart my driver seat, and cutting a couple bolts etc just to see if they would work. come to find out it doesn't....slider hooked up to main floor brackets perfect. but on the other side where it should attach to my seat it's about 2" to short.

called quadratec and they said they have a new set being sent out... and after talking they said it's the same kind. so i have a feeling that i will have same issue.

unless someone has another idea i'm thinking my only solution would be to make a "spacer" out of steel. long enough to attach to my seat and then attach that to the seat slider..

i just did that exact thing to my seat. i'm 6'4" and needed leg room. i got 3" more leg room. if you also need leg room, now is the time to do it. have fun!:punk:

1 didn't think about that...good idea.. well looks like i will make a trip to home depot and get some steel to start moking up a new spacer etc

flat iron and round head bolts will do the trick.
