Is that a mopar bumber?..looks good on there and wow those lights are massive

Mopar2Ya 10-01-2013 12:33 PM

Nice. My LF 140's look like cupcakes compared to those pie size 240's!

That Jeep Guy 10-01-2013 01:43 PM

looks good - HUGE, but good

These things are indestructible and really throw out some light.

I have been considering their 170 Strikers...if my dealership ever gets my Mopar light bar. Been waiting over two months! I haven't decided between two 170s or three 140s since the Mopar bar has three tabs.

The only reason I got the 240 instead of the 170 is the fact that the 240 throw light a lot further. I can see 900m- to a km away no problem. My inlaws live towards regional Victoria and I go up there twice a week. I've had a lot of close calls with kangaroos but now I can see them and have plenty of time to react :)

No they are interchangeable polycarbonate lens. They are very heavy duty and extremely strong. Strong enough to absorb an impact of a 12 gauge shotgun at. 15 yards using #7 shot.
I can change the colour of the lenses any time I please or to Suit the driving situations at hand. They are in my honest opinion the best and strongest spot beam light on the market at the moment. I believe they are also 100% Australian made and owned. :)

It's criminal that Chrysler in the USA don't sell you guys the diesel. They are very economical, powerful and got a 480nm of torque! Perfect for off-roading. I guess it's the oil companies to blame but it's a huge shame they deny you guys the opportunity of an oil burner.
I get 8-9L per 100km

Lusus_Naturae 10-01-2013 11:57 PM

9 liters per 100 km equals about 2.3775 gallons per 62.137 miles or 26.135 mpg!! Diesel is more expensive than gas but I think I'd still come out ahead or break even, with a diesel.

Bobes 10-02-2013 12:22 AM

The light!! It buuurrrnnnssss!!!!!
