Best 4" lift

Hi guys and gals. I'm a YJer and I hope ya all don't mind me asking this ? For a friend that has a stock 03 TJ and doesn't use computers. He is looking to run 33's. And wants the best ride quality more so than wheelin capability.

Thanks

If he's going for ride quality I wouldn't go with a 4" lift, I'd look into 2-2.5" SL with a 1"BL. Easier on the wallet too

I had a Skyjacker Sport 4"($550.00) with 32s on a '97, it road and drove like a dream. A lot better than my '04 Rubicon with a 4" Rubicon Express and 33s that I have now. It was on the Rubi when I bought it, gonna go back to the Skyjacker!!

Well I went with a Currie Lift but $$ around 2k, but it came with all adj. CA's and NO TC drop it is a great kit. But you said best 4" lift

The best 4" lift *kit* would be the Currie or MetalCloak (MC) lift. You pay for what you get, usually. Check out an OME kit, it's a little lighter on the budget comparatively.

Also, any lift at 4" or more will indefinitely require a SYE/DC.

I did a 3 inch and 1 inch body lift. I chose BDS and I am very happy...

Thanks for the help fellow jeepers

As a rule of thumb...if the lift is made in China, keep looking. Chinese steel, bushings, and designs just don't hole a candle to US made lifts.

The best "lift kit" is one which the user mixes and matches parts best suited for his build. That said look for parts from companies like Metal Cloak(Control arms, trackbars), Currie, OME for springs bumpstop kits etc, daystar, Fox etc etc.......
