Control Pannel
my new (to me) 95 se is missing some control from the dash.

its to the right of the steering column
below the speedometer
and left of my climate control

what is it?
from what i've seen it has two switches?
or lights?
or combo?

can you post a picture?

AZSE172 06-24-2009 08:08 AM
right above the aftermarket guages

dooder 06-24-2009 08:24 AM

make those switches do what you want. hook up some lights.
btw, nice shifter knob.

AZSE172 06-24-2009 08:30 AM

thanx dooder, but its not mine
its the only image i could thieve off of google
mine looks nothing like that.
i just wanna know what they were for when my beep was bone stock.

those are for fog lights, hard top rear window defogger and rear window wiiper. there should be an electrical plug inside the tub just above the gas filler. thet are threre separate switches and can be replaced individually. if these are not needed a blank off plare is available.:punk:

thx Chief,
i guess my non exist hard top might explain why my interior is extreme fubar

any idea where i can get the plastics for that piece?
i tried jcwhittney and they came up empty handed

thanks for the service to Uncle Sam.

NAVYCHIEF 06-24-2009 09:07 AM

send me a pic and we'll give it a try. i used to live in sedona and drive jeep tours there. have you ever been there? broken arrow is a great run. send pics to

AZSE172 06-24-2009 09:13 AM

ill send them asap.
i know i say it a lot but thank you

one of my buddys has a 96 and he goes out there all the time.
he invited me but my beep needs a heafty bit of RnR before she goes trailing anywhere.

im trying to put the interior back together for starts. and this piece has been irking me for more than some time.

NAVYCHIEF 06-24-2009 09:20 AM

i'll take a quick look see. will send a pic of my 94 renegade for comparison. sedona has about 10 real good trails. later, gotta go for a while. need to check my crab pot.
