I'm back!

Damn I missed this forum! Well, tomorrow at 0900, I will have officially graduated OSUT training at Fort Benning, GA from Alpha Co. 2/58 Infantry!

This last 14 weeks have been pure hell and enjoyment all at the same time. I'm 50lbs lighter and fully trained to defend this great country.

The training here is top notch, along with my Drill Sergeants. This was a great experience, but I'm glad its over lol. This Georgia heat is outrageous, and I'm ready to head back to Jersey.

Its a pleasure to be back, and I'm ready to get the Jeep blood flowing through my veins once again! I've come across a new YJ thats just begging me to modify her. I'll post pictures when I get back to my home computer.

Love of Country!

Congrats. And welcome to the family brother.

I was under the 58th for a very short time at the begining of this deployment. Good battalion.

And if you thought georgia was hot.......just wait.....132 here today.:zap:

yea but GA is humid! I'd love the dry heat! It was between 105 & 123 degrees on my FTX all week long! I lost 13lbs that week alone hahaha

Thanks for setting goals and go after them. You have earned a lot of respect to be able to wear that uniform. BTW, I have missed the cartoon in your sig:D

I graduated from Ft Benning's School of infantry also. Last summer, my son joined that tradition and is deploying for a year, starting next month. While being an infantryman is never glamorous, is alway hot, cold, rainy, and dirty, you will always be proud of your service. While the cooks, mechanics and clerks will lie about how they were infantry, you will be the real deal. Congrats

Congrats. Brings back memories of my hellish winter at Ft. McClellan, Al. I also spent 3 years in Georgia at Ft. Stewart (minus 6 months in Kuwait). That heat is no joke. Welcome to the US Army family. Stay safe.
