Hi everyone,
I am new to the board and having a great time looking through the posts to see which ones apply to things I have already experienced such as the so called "Death Wobble." I bought a used 2005 Wrangler X and am having the time of my life exploring the Eastern Sierra area as well as a few trips in the So. Cal deserts.

I got a chance last November to take Tom Severin's two day off-road driving clinic. This class really shortened the learning curve for me and was a real confidence builder.

Anyway, I look forward to following the threads and maybe someday geting to throw dust around with a few of you.

Welcome from a misplaced Californian. I'd love to make a desert run with ya :D

Thanks for the warm welcome. My ride is pretty much stock 05 Wrangler except for alloy wheels and BFG A/T's, Smittybilt front bumper and winch. During the summer (Apr.-Nov.) it resides in Bridgeport in the Sierra. Lots of old abandoned mines and back country to explore. In the winter it comes back to Pasadena and is available for for some local exploration. I really get a kick out of taking it to Hungry Valley. I will try to get some pictures to post. Took Tom Severin's two day class last winter to develop skills and to what both the Jeep and I are capable of and more importantly, what we should not try to do.
