Its hard to say no to this. I am in... should be a blast.

God Bless and Thanks to all the past, present, and future vets!

Having a wife who is a nurse at the VA Hospital means we're in with a huge respect for Service men and women. I can donate a box of fly fishing flies for the raffle if you think they'll bring in donations.

Jt_Ripper 10-08-2013 07:23 PM

Im in

wat3rdog 10-08-2013 09:48 PM

I'm in and I will have a front passenger seat open for a vet. It would be an honor to have a navigator.

Agreed.

abqjeep 10-08-2013 11:28 PM

I have it on my calendar. I will be there and would be very humbled to have one of our wounded warriors ride with me.

NMBruce 10-09-2013 01:17 AM

Great cause, bad weekend for me

Wahoo! We are super excited about this event. It has been an idea for a while, so it is nice to see it in action. The website to RSVP should be up by the end of the weekend. Also, it looks like we are gonna have some amazing door prizes for the raffle!

kenb1023 10-10-2013 12:31 PM

This must be the cosmos at work. My plans for the Las Cruces ride that weekend were canceled due to a family issue but one day in Rio Ranch will be ok. So call me in. I would also welcome a WW rider. My Jeep has retractable running boards that drop down far enough for people with mobility issues easier access in and out.

Commandocon 10-11-2013 08:15 AM

Great to see the over whelming positivity and participation in this thread.

After meeting with my management team I am extremely happy to announce my employer CenturyLink is on board to support the 1st Annual Flash Dash - Wounded Warrior Project Run, 11/9/13, along with Flash Gear LLC, NMORJG, and DirtKore. They have generously given a substantial donation to WWP that will be included with all the donations we receive on the 9th from the event. If anyone would like to include their companies please contact me or Walle. Truly a great cause for the entire family and community to be involved with. :)

wat3rdog 10-11-2013 08:38 AM

Man that's really cool of Centry Link to show support.
I offered a spot for a vet but I want to see if my brother in law is up to the ride. He's a veteran as well but has a bad back. He's been wanting to go with. So I will be a maybe for a rider.

kenb1023 10-11-2013 11:22 AM

Has anyone contacted 4 Wheel Parts to see if they would support. They are useualy good for this sort of thing

We are in the middle of contacting different organizations within town. We will see what they would do. The problem is...what the donator wants in return. Everyone is different. This thing is growing at an exponential rate.

If you are on Facebook, please RSVP to this event - https://www.facebook.com/events/630027267018025

The RSVP page to sign up and make donations will be at Flash Gear Home by the end of the weekend. The web designer is currently creating a form that will allow everyone to sign up.

Thanks again!!!

This would be awesome! Thank you!

wat3rdog 10-11-2013 03:39 PM

I assume the $25 entry fee is per vehicle?
Looks like I will have a vet with me riding shotgun so I do not have an extra seat.

Walle 10-11-2013 04:03 PM

Correct. $25 per vehicle.

wat3rdog 10-11-2013 05:41 PM

Thanks
