When Mike asked for one for Christmas last year, he wanted one between 9,000-11,000. I wound up getting him a Superwinch 10,000. It's been great! Got a decent deal from Quadratec.

My M8000 does a great job and I have never needed more pulling power.

I have a Warn Zeon 8000 perfect for my Moab. Warn sent a complete winch accessory kit.

I have a Warn HP PowerPlant - 9500. It has a built in compressor. GREAT for when you air down on the trail and then need to reinflate. I've used it several times.

The MOST fun was when I pulled a Hummer out of a creek......Oh that just felt so very good!

Same winch on my tj. Pulls like a warhorse. Snapped a rope and warn sent out a new one and the complete accessory kit!

Best to use the "Toolman" Tim Allen approach
Bigger is better
depends on how deep your pockets are
