Front Axle Lower Control Arm Bracket Question

I mangled my driver side front axle lower control arm bracket and I was looking at these to replace them:

BTF Jeep TJ/XJ Front Axle Lower Control Arm Mount Blue Torch FabWorks, Inc.

I was wondering since I am pretty new to the lifting scene, why would I want the "horseshoe" built in for cam bolt adjustment? Why is that important and what would the cam bolt be adjusting?

I am sure its a basic question but I am curious...

You adjust the caster angle with these bolts. For 2-3" of lift you don't need that. For +4" of lift itīs not enough, you will need adjustable lower control arms.

Thanks!
