Going to Pikes Peak CO.

Traveling to Pikes Peak Colorado in November for a three day vacation looking for off road trails with a view and some fun. Thanks for any help.

traildamage.com has all the local trails, and lists views and difficulty.
Colorado4x4.org is the big local bulletin board if you're looking for up-to-the-minute trail advice.

The drive to the top of the mountain is a good car road, but I think worth it. 14,000+ feet is a good drive!

There is a road called "rampart range road" that leaves from Garden of the Gods - about 3 miles from Mainitou Springs/Pikes' Peak. That road is a graded, but a bunch of trails run off of it. That's probably the closest.

Have fun!

That traildamage.com is a great site thanks for sharing. I am planning a trip west as well so this is helpful.

Traildamage.com is run by a very smart lady who also does some programming for me. She sends an invoice that pays in product: "4 hours....New SQL database....$Mesh Bikini"

Never did off-roading there but it was an awesome drive to the top! You will have an great time... Went in October, 80 degrees down below and 35 up top. Was rather chilly in shorts and a t-shirt :D
