window zipper problem

I was unzipping my windows when the thread came apart on one of my back-side windows. I tried to zip it back up but the teeth kept stopping the zipper from moving forward.

So... how do i get my window off my jeep. The zipper is currently holding the window on by less than an inch of zipper still zipped.

Yeah that always works for me! try a little bar soap in between the teeth too it helps loosen it up.

WD-40 will work too. I spray my zippers with that every once in a while to keep them moving easily.

A little bar soap always does the trick. I would have to sometimes un latch the top from the windshield to take the tension off of the top, zip up the window then re latch.
Hope this helps!

Over time the little metal part that pulls the two half together spreads out. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and carefully squeeze each side a bit. Test it out and continue until the zipper closes for you. That should do the trick. Try this link and scroll down to page 11 http://www.bestop.com/installation_guides/79128.pdf
