How to run wiring for winshield mounted lights

HI Guys,

I have a set of KC's that I'd like to mount to my winshield. I have the brackets to mount the lights onto the winshield but I need to know the best way to run the wiring.
I know a lot of you guys have these but I've never seen them in person so I'm a little stumped. Picks would help alot!!!

Thanks,
Steve-o

Run them thru the cowl right by the windshield/wipers.
Remove the wipers and then unscrew & remove the cowl. You can route the wires thru there in the grommet holes and then there should be a grommet hole on the firewall near the gas/brake pedal to bring wires inside.

If you have the brackets that mount to the windshield hinge a nice way to hide the wires is to fold down the windshield run the wires under and tuck then down behind the dash. I did that with my 02 and it eliminated having wires running all over the place and you would be suprised when you fold down the windshield that on either side there is all ready openings to push the wires behind the dash. Just make sure you have enough slack for when you put the windshield back up that you don't have too much tension on the wires leading to the light.

Hope this helps

Where is easiest place to pick up the power/battery for these lights?
I have got most of the other wiring solved. Also, there is a small power wire that I was going to attach to the cigarette lighter hot wire. Is this a good choice?

Although it's not the best that's what I did. Been working fine for a few months (since I installed them)
