Rough Country Front & Rear Differential Skids for Dana 44?
 
Anyone out there have these on their Jeep? Any clearance issues with the track bars?

I was looking at these last night. I swore I would never have anything RC on my Jeep but these do not look so bad. Still consider building my own am not sure yet.

RC came out with a pretty decent line of protection. I give them credit.

Also look at Rancho. I'm not sure if there's a front and rear though,

I have looked at Rancho they look nice. It is good to hear RC might have stepped up the game a little. Regardless neither will work with my ARB diff covers. So for me back to he drawing board the AEV one is way to darn much $$$$.

What's your opinion on the loss of ground clearance? It's why I've hesitated on a diff skid. It seems like we're raising the chances of hitting greatly, with the offset of having that hit occur on a skid.

I feel like its better to keep the clearance and avoid the hit.

Maybe diff skids are more for hardcore crawlers that are absolutely guaranteed to take hits in that area.

Thoughts?

I had the same thought. Am waffling between better diff covers vs skids.
