Trivia Question: What part of normal service of the 32RH is tightened to...

Tighten bolts to 17 Nm (150 in. lbs.) torque.

;)

Gonna change the tranny fluid again. I am still having a slight (every once in awhile shifting issue). Gonna do another change and put in Lucas tranny additive.

Is there a reason to use the mopar plastic gasket for 18 bucks or a regular rubber gasket on the tranny pan?

Thanks!

The Mopar gasket is WELL worth it, get it. I would not add the Lucas additive. I didn't understand your trivia question though.

crap...so I return the gasket kit and go back to the jeep dealer to get the mopar gasket....

I perhaps didn't phrase it quite right. I looked up the torque to tighten the tranny pan bolts. (Tighten bolts to 17 Nm (150 in. lbs.) torque.)

Looks like people have mixed results for the Lucas additives...the guy at the parts store swore by it. Guess I get to return it! Thanks Jerry for the advice.

I used the Lucas trans additive with good results. 150inch lbs is basically hand tight if you dont have an inch lbs torque wrench.

True and I would only use a 3/8" ratchet drive or a combo box/open-end wrench to achieve that hand tightness. It would however be very easy to overtighten/strip the threads using a 1/2" drive ratchet wrench. I just use a 3/8" drive ratchet with a 1/2" socket to get those particular bolts snug. :)
