Help me make this decision....
First off, hello to all...this is my first post here been reading pretty avidly for the past week and just now signed up... I have an 01 tj sport pretty much comp. stock with some respectable audio mods...what i'm looking at doing is getting the stage II 4" RC..... going with procomp xtreme m/ts 33x12.50.... and a procomp model 1079 10x8 wheel and i would REALLY rather wait to do that until i can regear from the 3.07s to 4.56s .... but i'm not home all that often (military) and would really like to be able to get something while i'm home....if i were to buy the series II kit from RC, the wheels, tires and gears and labor included...a very helpful and seasoned veteran has priced me at 3995....if i were to buy the gears and labor included he is charging 1400 ....right now i can afford the lift, tires, wheels....

how great of an idiot will i be if i splurge and get the lift, tires and wheels now..? and how bad do you think it'll kill my gas mileage until i am able to me make the more wise decision...

any and all advice and guidance is greatly appreciated...thanks for your time in reading this and i'm excited to have found such a great community of jeep enthusiasts :punk:

Welcome! Jeeps aren't known for there gas mileage to start with! Go ahead and do your lift and tires it won't hurt your mileage that much. Most people can't afford to do all there mods at once. When you do get it regeared you'll appreciate it even more!
