meeksthegeeks 08-29-2009 08:21 AM

how were the vinyl seats? I haven't bought one yet, waiting to pay off my Honda in a few short months. did they tear easy?

nice... though until they won't make it electrical (the soft top operation) I'm not planning to change mine with a new one

 yeah, that too. I was thinking maybe they could make a system to reuse the heat acumulated on the hard top, transform it into energy or something... or hot water? :p

WhiteRAVE!

GREAT info! Thanks for posting!

"SPORT" does sound much Cooler than..... "X"??? "X" was probably still up on the Drawing Board as a Future Fill-In Name, and someone just forgot to fill it in with "SPORT" for the '07/'08/'09 Models! http://www.maxi-scoots.com/postnuke/...iratelaugh.gif

The Surf Blue Pearl Coat would have been my Second Color Choice, and the Dark Charcoal Pearl Coat my Third, if the Detonator Yellow wasn't available. I LOVE MY YELLOW!!! http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9...miley236hw.gif

Cheers!

Or..... reuse the Rain Water collected on the Soft Top, and transfer it to some kind of a Water-Vaporizer-Steam-Assist-System! http://www.maxi-scoots.com/postnuke/...iratelaugh.gif

Cheers!

I really like that non-US spec front bumper. Is there any way we can get those here in the US?

wildeshawn 10-29-2009 06:21 PM

Diesel

I'd love to see the Wrangler with a diesel engine. Put the same motor as the Grand Cherokee has...and WOW!

hell, I'd be happy if they used the 4cyl 2.8CRD from the 05 libby, but the 3.0 BENZ CRD would be awesome. 376lb/ft of torque from a diesel wrangler. that would be totoally badazz. and 25mpg as well, there isnt much out there I'd consider giving up my LJ rubi for, but a CRD RUBI-u would absolutely fit the bill quite nicely

Make that x3.... I have called written, and begged chrysler to give me one.... I mean DAMN they make the F*****G thing with a Diesel HERE and then ship it ALL over the darn globe. What has happened in America when AMERICANS cant get cars that are made here that other countries are offered! WTF!!!!!

cookster1433 11-05-2009 06:50 PM

Found this article on AOL Auto: "Chrysler Admits Faults, Unveils New Plan" by Reilly Brennan. Basically he reviews problems at Chrysler and reveals upcoming plans/changes to the Chrysler/Fiat product line. Most notably...."Jeep Wrangler: New diesel model in the end of 2010" ... Hopefully this means USA! Are they listening???

johnybolt 11-05-2009 07:12 PM

The crd in the Libertys had many problems and was a total FLOP!!
