RAFFLE VEHICLE Colorado Association of 4WD Clubs

Hello everyone.
The Colorado Association of Four Wheel Drive clubs has an annual vehicle raffle. It's their main fundraiser, and they do good stuff with the money they raise, like supporting volunteer efforts on trails, helping with land use battles and the like.

This is mostly a Colorado thing, built with parts from Colorado suppliers, but it's open to everyone, and you could win a pretty sweet YJ, built by obsessive volunteers.

I'm not associated with this, but Bestop donates a top every year, and they are absolutely legitimate.

morphious 09-02-2009 05:51 PM

yeah i'm thinking about buying a few would be nice to have a rig all together

Levinoss 09-02-2009 05:52 PM

I'd buy some tickets if I had the cash even though it's a square eyes. =P

Seriously though that is cool that they would raffle something off that cool.

yeah tell me about it would totally not be worth it if it had round head lights:flipoff: jk any way the money somebody's going to save is outrageous. between the winch and the top. and it looks like somebody messed with the diffs so probably lockers in their not to mention a full cage and the paint i don't like purple but that stuff is awesome ....(drools on keyboard)

Might have to get a few myself.... It would be a shame to have to go to Colorado if I happen to be the winner.... might require taking 3 weeks off from work just to check out trails.... but then they might be snow covered... even more fun...

that is an awesome jeep (even for a yj :p) and $3 for a ticket is not bad.

Is it missing an engine? I still bought tickets.

Ok the picture is really small, but you can see through one fender well and out the other.

the list of mods included a chevy engine. im guessing that the pics are progress pics through the whole build.

You are exactly correct. I saw this at a show, and the front end was riding pretty high, since the engine was still off being built up. It does have a Chevy engine. I'm thinking the engine was donated by a member of the Mile-Hi Jeep club, and built up by a guy over on the other side of the state. It will rumble.

Its good to see this jeep is getting around the net a little bit. My club is a parto of the Colorado Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs. I have hosted this jeep at a few different events to include the Colorado State Fair, boy was that a busy week.

It has a Dana 60 in the back and a 44 in the front, 9500lbs warn, Treks (TnT Customs) tube fenders and sliders, 2.5" BDS lift, 37" Procomps, Rock Hard Cage, Tuffy Security Box, Tomken Rear bumper and Tire carrier, M.O.R.E. body lift, Crane Hi steer steering and diff covers, the list just keep going. Yes it is getting a chevy small block and it was not in when the pictures were taken but it will be there when it is raffled off. You only have a short time left on this great build. And last but not least it has a new Bestop! Thanks Geoff!!
