Here's something you don't see everyday

It was wacky Wednesday at Great Lakes Dragaway so a bunch of us took the trail rigs for a laugh. It was a lot of fun.

YouTube - Jim & Kyle drag

YouTube - Wade & Dave drag

Me lining up with a Mustang (almost had him!):

and last, but not least, poor Jerry's untimely driveshaft break. The one rig with any real speed didn't get to show it. They were a little upset about the mud.

That CJ5 is a fast SOB, it's a shame he broke. He surprises a lot of people with that thing!

Youll get that mustang next time buddy!

I just thought of something! Why didn't the CJ just kick in 4wd and smoke that other cars arse? Front wheel drive, who needs those rear wheels!

Jesse-James 09-18-2009 01:20 AM

The yoke on the rear axle snapped and the drive shaft banged around quite a bit so he wasn't sure if any damage was done to the t-case, plus it caused a pinion leak and they won't let you run with an oil leak. Besides, they were a little pissed off about the mud on the track so he just put it on the trailer.
