Great pictures. I spent 2 months in Europe this summer. It was the trip of a life time. I was only in Copenhagen for one day and night but the short time I spent there was absolutely amazing.

Where have you been in Europe? Why didnīt you visit me? :D

I will be there again in November. Then Iīll work there for three days. This friday I was there only for a preliminary talk with my customer. Thats why I can set-off the whole trip from tax.

I hit quite a few places. I did the hostel/backpack style trip. I went to London, Paris, Barcelona, Nice, Marseille, Interlaken, Zurich, Florence, Rome, Venice, Budapest, Vienna, Krakow, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Bruges. It was mainly a major city kind of trip. I hope to go back later, when I am older and have a little more money to spend and visit the smaller towns that will give me another perspective on Europe that is different than the tourist driven areas. It was a great experience though.

That sounds like a nice trip !
But there are so many other cities in Europe that are at least as interesting than the places where you have been.
Thatīs the same in the US. I was in the US for about 30 times in my live, but there are so many places I havenīt seen.

I know what you mean. I found myself seeing that more and more during my trip. I would meet new people from around the world who had seen places in the US that I have never considered going to see. Traveling the United States is not quite as easy as traveling Europe though. Trains are impractical and flights are expensive.

nicolas-eric 10-04-2009 08:34 PM

True. The flights in the US are very expensive. Thatīs why I only travel in one area at the time with a rental car. Next time Iīll visit a relative in Colorado springs.

RckyMtnBum 10-04-2009 08:41 PM

You will love Colorado Springs. I was born and raised there. I now this is bias, but it is arguably one of the most beautiful cities in the US. Hopefully I'll have a Jeep by then and we can go up to the high country and do some wheelin.

I hope that I get to know some guys from this forum there.
