I was looking at these 2 lower control arms and wanted to get some opinions on these 2 kinds. Should I get either rubber bushings or poly bushings. I do mostly street driving with occasional offroading.
Most guys avoid poly for control arms.
If you have the $$ budget, look at a Johnny joint type such as savvy, or duroflex joint such as metalcloak. If not stuck to the rubber type factory bushing.
one of the BEST controls arms on the market for both on road and off road awesomeness are the JKS control arms. They use factory bushings to keep the on road ride great as well as they way they flex they do not bind in any way. they are also adjustable down to 1/16th of an inch.
I just saw MC make aluminum double adjustables. I might have to go with these. Does anyone have these that can give us some reviews on them how they perform on road and offroading. Thanks!
there is a huge thread on the joints over on JF. the arms dont really mean much, its all in the joints. I'm rather confident that MC can make a quality arm with lh/rh threads
