Geology tour rd

Panning on bumping around Joshua Tree this weekend. Can a stock wrangler handle geology tour rd without any problems? Park map says 4WD, but I've never been there and don't want to get in over my head, since it will be just wifey and me. Thanks for the help and any other suggestions.

From this youtube video there doesn't appear to be any issues with the road that would require 4wd.

There are no roads in Joshua Tree that a stock Jeep will have any trouble with.

There is a trail that goes from the national park and will drop you off by the loves gas station off the 10 freeway (Dillon rd). I did it in a 2wd ford ranger with a 3" lift and 32s. Was a little hairy at first, but ended up being pretty cool. There is a couple little waterfalls. If I would have had to turn around I would have been screwed! But you would be fine in a stock jeep.

The Geological Tour road looks tamer than many service roads I've driven in 2WD. I saw a sedan (probably not 4WD) coming out of the Geological Tour road when I was there.

That's Berdoo Canyon (here's a gps track). Goes from Dillon Road to the Geological Tour. Maybe two or three dinky little rock obstacles along the way. Definitely doable in a stock Jeep.
