Great pics. I would love to try some wheeling in that type of terrain. So Cal does not offer any of that. At least that I can find so far.

You would probably have to take a road trip further up northern cali I guess.
I feel the same way about the type of terrain you guys have over on the west coast. I'd love to do some west coast wheeling. :punk:

you are welcome to come anytime. Cali is nice year round.

Jeff

Nice pics man! What did you use to attach your jack to the front bumper?

Ill keep that in mind Jeff.

smatica..I used a bracket that I found in quadratecs catalog. Its a convenient place to keep the jack but it tends to get beat up sometimes.

Heres my buddy Mike waking up saturday morning after a long night...

Looking good man. Sorry, I missed it. What trail was that that had the water flowing thru it?

If you look at the trail map, west property, Its a blue/black 13-A. It runs right along side rock creek. It was real nice trail. Good challenge and a nice length too.
Saturday was kind of a wash out, muggy, rainy, windy. Sunday cleared up and got nice for a while. Feeling any better yet?

njkeagle 11-03-2009 12:55 PM

Nice pics man. By the way which pocket flare you have?

KBR97 11-03-2009 01:18 PM

they are the smittybuilts...i wouldn't recommend them. Not the greatest quality built product.

njkeagle 11-03-2009 01:44 PM

They look good though and they are half the price of the Bushwackers. Do they come painted black? Why you don't like them? You mean if you hit something and stuff?

KBR97 11-03-2009 04:29 PM

The mounting hardware is crap. Theres these little rubber spacers that go between the flare and the body...most times i had to use 2 so they would fit. The little black caps that cover the bolt heads either dont fit or fall off. And a number of the mounting holes didnt exactly line up which results in an extremely tight fit that streches out the mounting holes. Or you may even need to redrill some new holes.
I kind of knew what i was getting into but I got them brand new from someone who had an extra set for a good price.
They come black in color. I think they are made in china too. That could be part of the reason why smittybuilts stuff is so much cheaper than competitors.

IMO...save your money for bushwackers or keep your stock ones.

njkeagle 11-03-2009 05:09 PM

Cool thanks. I like the bushwackers but you have to paint them. Never painted anything before and if you want to receive them painted they are $700 from quadratec. Thanks much for the info though.

KBR97 11-03-2009 05:15 PM

for 700 bucks you can get a badass set of steel tube fenders and still have money left.

KBR97 11-05-2009 03:37 PM

JESS where are your pics and videos....your slacking
