Very nice!

I just recently bought a 2011 two door sport... only made it one month before lift and tires. Can't go wrong with that for a start. Next I'm picking up a stubby front bumper.

yea I'm a definitely going to put a lift on it especially since it floods so often in New Orleans plus I want to do some off roading to but what about fog lamps where can I get some?

Nice jeep. Go to Quadratec.com and get their free catalogue. Tons of mods you will want. Keep us updated on your build.

SuperTJ 11-15-2013 05:56 PM

Welcome and congrats!

Nice Rig! Welcome and congratulations.
The first modification you might consider is buying some man socks. :)

This lol! Also roofs on Wranglers are not designed to carry a load other than snow and rain so I would probably be a little careful-but at least you had manners to respect the Jeep and removed your shoes.

Suggestions: if it is a street queen, real headlights. If you plan to offroad, do you have any recovery gear?

Edit: if those pinky things ARE shoes step one would be surrender the man card and trade for a Prius. LOL

Congrats sir!!! Let the mod bug begin!!!!

Holidays are coming soon. Get yourself a parts catalog and start circling all the stuff you want!

WashingtonJK66 11-16-2013 02:15 AM

He is wearing shoes... I believe they're Air Jordan's if I'm not mistaken.

Jenny Marry 11-16-2013 02:32 AM

Not bad, why are you sad?

WalkerC 11-16-2013 05:21 AM

Your build or modifications should reflect on what you plan on doing with your jeep. Not off-roading I wouldn't worry with much other than wheels and tires and a small lift. Off road I would start off with tires so you can get a feel of what jeeps can do stock before dumping a lot of money into it.

Also you need to think about where you will be wheeling at. Would they be just easy trails or complex trails consisting of rocks and down trees. My biggest thing has always been tires, recovery and armor armor armor. All those mods are no good if you have a hole in your drivetrain.

There are plenty of websites to look at for parts and ideas but it's whatever fits your budget. Quadratec, Fortec, 4wd hardware and northridge 4x4 are a few good places to look. Good luck with your build and congrats.

4wd hardware and quadratec have good catalogs for free. If you're in the southeast u.s. I'd check out Fortec which also is free catalog.

D10408 11-16-2013 05:41 PM

Nice congrats man. Quadratec is good but they don't tell you when something is on back order.

Kthulhu 11-16-2013 07:40 PM

^^^^^
This
I ordered seat covers and a receiver hitch a few weeks ago. The receiver hitch showed up but no seat covers. Nothing on the packing list saying they were backordered, no note in the box, nothing. I go on the web site to check the status if the order and it won't even let me log in, keeps saying they have multiple accounts with that name and address. Huh? I guess theres more than one guy with my name living at my house ordering stuff from quadra tech! I'll have to call them when I get a chance.

I'm new to Jeeps as well, as of August. I've already realized, however, that Quadratec is not the vendor for me - they're... Well, you get the point.

I highly recommend Morris 4X4, by the way! I've ordered 4 different times and have received impeccable service!
