what frame is a postal jeep on? like a cj -5? not sure. might take more than the grill and hood! it might take fenders also? not sure what you would achieve by doing this!

i think the postal are narrower im lookin just to be a tad different and i think it would look cool if i can do it right kinda like dove tailing

I think it would be a cool project. But if you narrow the grill then you probably plan to narrow the frame otherwise whats the point. If you narrow the frame forward of motor mounts then you'll be relocating the steering box, which means custom steering, different sized radiator(?), air shocks or coilovers with 4/5 link (with track bar... which would be a very short track bar since the frame is narrower) in the front with shock hoops because the stock leafs on the narrowed frame wouldn't work . WOuld be a cool project however.

Most of the narrowed front rigs I've seen are tube-framed buggies, and some of them have engines in the back, or rear-mounted radiators. I sometimes think they kept the grill -sort of - just to keep Jeep sponsorship.

It seems like a big project, possibly involving months of misery and mucho bucks. Keep us informed if you do it! Ain't nothing good on TV anyway.

How about lowering the hood line, like the LowerForty?
