Short post, it's our first day of real snow/ice on the road since I got my Duratracs. Saw other people slip sliding away and the Jeep didn't even wiggle.

The more that I read and hear about the Duratracs, the more I'm compelled to break my Piggy Bank and get a set.

Awesome. Been anxiously waiting for our big dump to test them out, but not enough to stick to the road yet here along the Wasatch front. Guess I better watch what I ask for!
Bust open the piggy bank and get some. These tires absolutely rock in sand, mud and rock.
Looking to buy another set but move from 33s to 35s.

I got 285/70/17 Duratracs about a month ago. A little expensive and at first I was apprehensive however these tires are awesome. They are D rated and super quiet on road and handle great. Off road they are awesome too. Not rock crawling awesome but general off road use they do very well. Can't wait for the snow

Aren't they stamped with a snow flake in a triangle? I never got to try mine in the snow before upgrading the Jeep.

It's the severe weather rated symbol.

Wadsworth, that's a really good street to have really good snow tires on...it feels like it takes forever to get through those wide intersecitons on a snowy day. Good to hear reviews on that tire in conditions I'd be likely to see, thanks for that!
