how careful do i have to be?
So i have a 30 and a 35 on my jeep, 4.11 gears blah blah blah

i just put on a 3.25" RC lift, i have a 1.25" BL and today i am getting some 6ply 33x12.5x15 tires put on. Now i wheel every other weekend, its usually a day event and it can get pretty nasty. I had 31's but as of tonight i will have some 33's (12.5).

how careful do i have to be now with axel snappage, i know the 33's are a lot heavier and cause more stress.

What are some good things to avoid doing to help prevent an axel snap on the 30 or 35 while running 33's.

where do you go on the weekends? Jurassic park and the sand pits in Milton?

There are some awesome trails down in Lincoln in the green mountains, bit of a drive but well worth it, I go camping and wheelin down there all the time

Well if you do rocks, theres a good possibility youll break something in your D35, Rocks provide alot of stress, especially when you stretch, mud pits too, holy crap. Try and not to raise your RPMs when youre stuck. Also you may end up just break it while driving normally after all the stress youve put on it. People break axles simply coming out of their driveway

If the rear is not locked then you can get away with those tires. Just go to Junk yard now and get a shaft or 2. easy to carry and fairly easy to change if broke. Then have at it....

I have d30 and d35's with 33x12.50 and have no problums, but i do trails and mud pits no rocks for me

I've had guys follow me thru rocks and ledges before on D35's as long as you remember not to bounce you should be fine. As when trying to climb ledges and tires are spinning and either bounce/jerk motion or slide back hitting the ground is usually when a D35 breaks.

Pick-up some spare D35 shafts from junkyard, they should be easy to come by and if wheeling alot should be part of your trail gear and parts. I believe they are have the "C" clip, make sure you get those as well.

i now have the came combo except i still have the 3.07 gears. all i can say is that i did go find some mud to play in on sunday and was driving the crap out of it in 2wd trying to get through thing where i should probably have been in 4wd and had no issues. i am only running firestone destination at tho.
