Newby to the Jeep world

Purchased a 2007 Jeep Wrangler X with 21k. It had the 17's with 32's, TPMS, driving lights in the front bumper, compass and dash computer. paid 17k out the door and I hope that was as good of a deal as I though it was. Doesn't even have the light washing scratches in it and its black.

Purchased it 2 days ago and put a 3" lift on it last night and putting 35x12.50x16 tires on it today.

What next? Also what can I expect this thing to go through with the BFG MTR's? Last but not least, is there anyone who has used a hypertech programmer that can tell me how good it is. I have the automatic and want to get some of the power back that the 35's are stealing.

Congrats and welcome!!! You'll probably need to address the gearing to get some of the power back after installing the 35's. I'm not sure what gears your X has, but even with the 4:10s that the Rubi's come with, 35's are pushing it. Depending on your driving style, terrain, and weight of your right foot, you may need to beef the axles up a bit and if the stock tie rod on the JKs is as cheezy as the TJs, you'll want to replace that quick as the 35's are just too much for the cheezy stock tie rod to handle.

Not sure what most of the X's come with but I do have the 410s. Its actually still ok out of the hole but at 60 to get to 70 is a chore. Guess I'll look into the 456s. Thanks for the info. Posting a pic on the "Lift Kits" thread now.
