nice looking yj!!!
just taking that UGLY light bar and that bug deflector off makes it look tons better.
but the black out wheels and tires make the jeep IMO..

nice job

Thank you.Yea the light bar was terrible, and to make it worse it wasn't even wired in & all the lights were corroded & didn't work. The last ugly thing left is that front bumper, which i'm working on, after i recover from the lift. Lol

APPSTATEwrangler 12-08-2009 01:23 AM

yeah i read in another thread that you are looking into a stinger.
i have a tube bumper my self and dont mind them, but they a definitly dont fit the aggressiveness of your jeep

distortedtj 12-08-2009 01:27 AM

What's your plan for the spare?

distortedtj 12-08-2009 01:28 AM

And when is it getting painted that pink color you was talking about?

kaycee83 12-08-2009 01:29 AM

Yea. I guess it depends on what look your going for. There's just too much going on with the tube bumpers for me. I wanted my Jeep to look agressive but I still don't really think it does. I dunno just looks too plain to me?

Haha plan for spare is. Hopefully don't need one. Lol. After I bought the lift, paid someone to put it on and bought the 4 tires, I'm broke. Haha. And I'm not painting it pink anymore since you painted yours pink. I don't wanna copy your style.:D

distortedtj 12-08-2009 01:37 AM

Naw go ahead and paint it. Mine's gold. :p

Before the front bumper I'd suggest in, investing in a spare even if it is a used one. Just throw it in the back of the tub until you can afford a tire carrier.

I've found 35'' spares on craigslist for 30 with a wheel.

Sure it is:cool: I don't do anything extreme that I would need a spare for, but I guess anything can happen. I never really thought about looking for a used one. It doesn't have to be anything great anyways.

bignugly 12-08-2009 08:40 AM

Good looking yj, i agree, u need a spare, doesnt have to be great to get you home

Coyote_94YJ 12-08-2009 10:48 AM

Yes, get a spare tire. You can't dodge all the sharp objects in the road. Excellent example, I was in a rental pick-up truck the day I was flying out to move to the UK and as I was going through the car wash I got a HUGE puncture from a piece of re-bar sticking out of the concrete. Enough to let all the air out by the time the carwash was done. They plugged the tire but it only lasted half way to the airport before I had to stop by a dealership and get some more air. When I parked at the airport it was almost on the rim again.

That being said, I have not had a spare tire for my jeep since 2003. Knock on wood.

A lose tire (and hilift jacks, etc.) is a bad thing to have behind you in the event of an accident.

sefatboy 12-08-2009 12:43 PM

Nice Looking Jeep!!!

kaycee83 12-08-2009 12:50 PM

You guys are going to jinx me. If I get a flat or something in my tire it's all your fault!

Coyote_94YJ 12-08-2009 12:57 PM

Oh, ok!?!? It's our fault. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-gen135.gif

kaycee83 12-08-2009 01:00 PM

Haha. That little man is funny. Yep it is because you guys mentioned it so now it'll probably happen.

jpdocdave 12-08-2009 07:23 PM

payj90 12-08-2009 07:46 PM

You took a terrible looking jeep and turned it right around. Very nice, now when are you gonna wheel it and get it dirtied up?

I dunno, it's pretty cold out now...I'll be freezing the whole time!

IndyJeepMan 12-08-2009 08:17 PM

Yeah, I love the bright body, dark accents.

Thats my plan with mine. Chrome on a Jeep = Fail.

What brand lift kit? If I ever do a lift I'd want 2". Now all you need is a nice aggressive bumper with a guard and a winch. Thing would look sick!
