What to load up in the jeep for the trip.
Getting the jeep set for my month and a half long trip. :punk:

Just trying to make sure I don't forget anything. Got my tools, jack, wiring (spare). Oil, 2- 5 gallon extra fuel tanks in the f-150. Straps, extra lights for the trailer. Any help would be greatful or you guys and gals bashing me for doing a trip for a month with the jeep is also welcome too:flipoff::wavey:

Where your going depends on what you bring, I have driven cross country many times and it all depends...where ya goin JD?

I have done the trip twice but not with towing the jeep. I am going to cali for Xmas but I am also getting wheeling in. I was more trying to figure out what I should bring for that.

Sounds like fun. What's your route? Route 66?

No bashing for the trip. I am actually jealous. I love road trips. Are you stopping at places with internet access to keep us updated of your adventures?

The local club has a list of required items for wheeling. Check it out: Billings Montana 4x4 Club, Trail Rides, Conservation - Magic City 4 Wheelers Billings MT

This is a business but pleasure trip lol. I am hauling ass to AZ in 2 days. I will have internet access whereever I get cell phone signal (I can tether my phone to my laptop):flipoff:. I am wheeling in AZ with some board members. Then in cali I am doing the normal every year Xmas with the other half of the family. I will be doing wheeling out there too. I will be snapping pics along the way. It is just me and the truck tho nobody for a co-pilot. :(

Kaycee even towing the jeep with the f-150 i still make better gas mileage at 70 then you do when your jeep is parked:rofl::p. So I am just trying to get all my eggs in the truck so I am not forgetting anything.

jdhallissey 12-10-2009 09:59 AM

Nope I don't smoke lol. My route will be I think 40. I am doing back to back days at 900 miles a day. :banghead:. will be some long days but AZ will be worth it. Table mesa and junction point with jack then in CA it will be JV and Anza. WAHOO
