What have you bought for your jeep lately?

Curious to see what everyone else is working on since winter is here. Post up what you've bought or have on the way. If I see some interesting parts I will post up my short list I've gone through over the past 2 days .

amerijeep 12-01-2006 08:42 PM

Most recently, gas. I'm afraid to buy anything. I don't know what Santa is bringing.

MR.CLIFFORD 12-01-2006 08:44 PM

That means you had to have been good this year? :D

Scout 12-01-2006 08:52 PM

In the last three months...let's see.

ORO U-Turn Steering
4" RC X-Series Lift
Superlift Adjustable Front Track Bar (about to be an RE)
35" MT Claws
Rockcrawler black steelies
PSC Trail Stinger
PSC Sliders
Tereflex 3/4" Spacers (front and rear)
Banks Exhaust
TNT Tube Fenders
New Roller Fairlead
New Winch Plate
PSC Trail Corners (about to be PSC full corners or TNT's)
OME LT Shocks (nice!)

That's all I can think of. Do I win? :D

I know Andy has some goodies in his garage. I saw some boxes in one of those pics he posted up. Spill your beans!

tiny terror 12-01-2006 08:53 PM

Right before Christmas is an impossible time for me to try and put together cash for the Jeep. I have two boys who come first. If I don't have to dip into it, I have a grand saved up for the lift. But the only thing I've done lately is buy tow hooks.

MR.CLIFFORD 12-01-2006 08:54 PM

You shouldn't have bought tow hooks. I have countless pairs in the shop. Should have asked :p

Scout 12-01-2006 08:55 PM

Favors are from people who expect something in return ;)

Uhhh...I don't even know what half of that stuff is :D .

Actually after reading that I feel much better. I thought I was the only one that had a problem.:flipoff:

MR.CLIFFORD 12-01-2006 09:23 PM

You don't have a problem yet. Wait until you get your jeep finished with the way you think it should be. Then take all that crap off, sell it, and start completely over.

Then, my friend, is when you have a problem ;)

I may be getting close. I've already replaced a few brand new parts (less than a couple of months old). This sh*t is addictive. :D

MR.CLIFFORD 12-01-2006 09:32 PM

I took my jeep from this...

To this...

Just to do it right the second time!!

Scout 12-01-2006 09:36 PM

At this point I like the "from" better. Those 22's are really bugging me.

When will you have it finished? (I know never really finished, but finished for the most part)

MR.CLIFFORD 12-01-2006 09:41 PM

I hope by February or so. Things will start going really quick now that I have a stock pile of parts on their way. :)

Scout 12-01-2006 09:50 PM

Good. That should keep you busy this winter. Keep us all posted on the work. I love your Jeep - minus the 22's. :D

MR.CLIFFORD 12-01-2006 09:53 PM

Can do. I'm just excited to get my motor fired up for the first time. Gonna be a rush with open headers. :D

mrbigjeep 12-01-2006 11:05 PM

open headers?! the YJ with the LT1 (the clip that you heard) ran open headers also. he's got some good stories :D

most recent for me is the lift. in the last couple months it was

nerf bars
flowmaster
black wheels w/ center caps
32's
lift
mtx sub and amp

thats it. still wanna get a soft top and rock sliders. probably the sliders first. i just wanna have that soft top by summer.

SportsGal501 12-02-2006 05:12 AM

Husky mats

Sport handles to assist my lil behind in getting in the Jeepster

Odhinn 12-02-2006 05:35 AM

I just got a rock-knob and the full door armrests in the mail yesterday.(couldn't resist on the knob and was tired of not having a place for my arm when the windows were up). Gonna have to go to parts store today and get some top cleaner/conditioner. Jeep got egged last night.
