Guys in the Wichita area....

Post up pics of what you drive. Daily drivers, trail rigs, tow rigs, the wife's ride....whatever. I'm new here and I'd like to know who I'm looking for around town.

This is me:

We've got a thread going about a spring wheeling trip if you guys are interested. Distorted, your current mode with your Jeep makes it look so sad!

cavediverjc 01-20-2010 10:37 PM

While I don't live in Wichita, I'm down there an awful lot. I live about 2.5 hours north/northwest of Wichita. My best good friend lives in Derby. You'll probably see my rig down there from time to time. I also ride an R1, so you'll be seeing that almost every weekend in the spring.

Here's the Jeep.....

I'm daily driving my truck. So far I believe it is the only silverado in town that is completely debadged and the door moldings taken off.

It's no longer red, But Yellow It belongs to "coyote-94yj" here on the forum. He's stationed in England at the moment. Jeep is with him.

I'm gonna try to make tuttle. 3rd weekend in april?

Clayton's no problem... at least as far as green acres is concerned.

also have access to 3000 acres on private property we've been cutting trails on for about a year. If ya want to bring a saw and cut & clean a little trail we can wheel for free.

The guy that owns the property for around 200 a nite (maybe less), meals included he will put you up in the bunk house at the ranch. as long as he dosent have any hunters scheduled in. makes for a real nice relaxing weekend.

cavediverjc 01-21-2010 04:23 PM

Andy, that's a beast of a Rubi. I hope you get it too!

Eric, same can be said of your Rubi. Looks like it's set up really nice. Can't wait to wheel with you guys.

ks90yj 01-26-2010 02:00 PM

Hey thanks I just got the jeep there

crazyredneck 02-02-2010 09:32 PM

Here is mine, i have a couple more recent pics. i just scored some new tires, set of 4 for 300 bucks. 33X13.50 15's BFG MT's old style.

i will throw up some pics of those when i get them mounted.

http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...29-09_1616.jpg

http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...29-09_1615.jpg

this is a stock ride height with 33X12.50 on crager 15X8 with 4 inch backspacing. i have the front flares on, now i just need to replace the rear flares with the wider, and larger AEV rear flares.

here is a pic of before i smacked my deer...

MR.CLIFFORD 02-02-2010 10:12 PM

I'm pretty sure I've seen your rig over by Rusty Eck. Do you work somewhere over there?

crazyredneck 02-04-2010 01:03 AM

i work at the Quick Lane, did you see it drivin around?

If you drive by there on friday you'll see me parked on the snow pile:D

MR.CLIFFORD 02-04-2010 08:07 AM

I'm friends with Matt Lightwine in the auto body shop there are Rusty Eck. I brought a TJ hood by the shop to have it painted about a month back. So I saw it sitting out there. The high line fenders caught my eye as that's not something you see around here.

All this snow... and I still have no jeep.

crazyredneck 02-04-2010 10:07 AM

i love them, no lift, 33's and the only rubbing is the stock rear flares, but that will be fixed here in a couple weeks when i get some time.

i just need to get the front end painted, over at the quicklane we are doin a spray in bed liner now, the can get up to 5 trucks done in a day if weather permits.

distortedtj 02-04-2010 04:59 PM

^^^ What product of liner do ya'll use there?

MR.CLIFFORD 02-04-2010 07:25 PM

And how much??

crazyredneck 02-06-2010 09:24 AM

the brand is called "DZ", one of my coworkers is going to do the whole exterior of his jeep this spring.

I have seen some of the beds they have done and they look really nice. They look better than the trucks that come through the lube bays with the LineX beds.

IIRC i think they said about 450 for truck beds. I will have to ask on monday about the interior of our jeeps. im also going to so the bottom of my exterior to the top of the factory stripes.
