Christmas Card

So we put the tree up last weekend so that we could get our annual Christmas cards out to family and friends. I decided I wanted to take another picture of my daughter in front of the tree so it would match the one from last year. Ya know, so everyone could see how much she's grown. Well I pulled up the picture from this time last year and I had forgotten how much of a little baby she was back then. I guess it kinda makes you stop and think about things. We 're so busy in our personal lives and with work that sometimes we forget how fast time can get away from you. Heck, she almost a little kid now!

This will be our second Christmas with her and this year she'll kind of have a clue what's going on. She doesn't have a clue who Santa Clause is or the real reason we celebrate Christmas. I guess this year will be just a warm up for next years fun.

Sorry to ramble. Here's last years pic. Hopefully I can get the same picture again this year. If it works out I'll share it with everyone.

Awww, what a doll. It's fun to see pictures from year to year. Enjoy her, she'll be grown up in the blink of an eye.

She is a cutie...great picture too. They grow too fast. Mine are 7 and 3 already. I still remember my oldest son's first Christmas, seems like yesterday.

I think so. I'll see if I can find it.

She's absolutely darlin', but I don't know how you kept that hat on her head.

Scout, She's a doll. Is she learning to drive the Wrangler yet? Too bad it's got ugly fenders.

C-clamps work and don't leave any holes, but you gotta be careful and not dent her head. Don't want her hair not laying right in later years. She'll blame you.

So did you get a good pic this year, Scout?

amy 12-17-2006 04:11 PM

Put up the christmas tree last night and look what I found under the tree this morning.
